  1. Sign in to your studio

    Use the invitation email we sent — it links to your studio login. Sign in at studio.youhadmeatido.app, then open the Employee Portal. Getting Started appears until essentials are complete.

  2. Finish Getting Started essentials

    Work the checklist in order. Each step marks complete when you save.

    Essential What to do
    Your business Company name, logo, and contact details couples will see.
    Event types Confirm wedding, elopement, vow renewal, and anything else you offer.
    What you offer Services you sell (officiant, DJ/MC, rehearsal, and related offerings).
    Booking stages Pipeline labels from inquiry through booked and completed.
    Inquiry form Fields couples fill out on your site.
    Availability Days and windows you accept new bookings.
    Payments Connect Stripe when you are ready to collect deposits in Studio.

    Where: Employee Portal → Getting Started. Packages, contracts, emails, checklists, questionnaires, and ceremony templates can wait.

  3. Publish your inquiry form

    Open Booking and Packages → Inquiry Form. Copy your public link or embed code from Share & Embed, then submit a test inquiry yourself so a wedding appears in your pipeline.

    Tip: Use obvious test names (for example “Test & Practice”) so you can archive the wedding later.

  4. Work your first wedding (free)

    Every inquiry creates a wedding — one wedding workspace. Open My Business → My Weddings, review date and contacts, move the booking stage, and open the couple light portal (magic link). Free mode includes basics and The Story of You — not contracts, payments, or full ceremony collaboration yet.

    Tip: Stay on free tracking as long as you like. Activating a wedding uses one wedding activation.

  5. Activate the wedding when ready

    Open the wedding → full wedding workspace card → Activate. One wedding activation applies to that wedding only. Resend or copy the couple magic link if they need a fresh email.

    What unlocks: full couple portal, Vow Workshop, ceremony collaboration, contracts, payments & Financials, guest / VIP / vendor portals, and Day-of Mode.

    Where: Wedding → full wedding workspace, or My Business → full wedding workspace for your complimentary balance.

  6. Using Officiant Suite

    Prefer a real wedding when you can. On an activated wedding:

    • Ceremony Builder — templates, library elements, or Magic Import from an old Word/email draft (review before saving).
    • VIPs & processional — wedding party order so portals and day-of stay aligned.
    • Couple magic link — walk through vows, story, and questionnaires.
    • Day-of Mode — download the offline backup while you still have Wi‑Fi, then use large-type reading at the altar.

  7. Using DJ Suite

    On an activated wedding that includes DJ or MC work:

    • Ceremony Music — processional, interlude, and recessional cues.
    • Grand March — entrance order, names, and songs.
    • Formalities — first dances, toasts, and other timed moments.
    • Music Board and guest requests — must-plays, do-not-plays, and a queue you control.

  8. Share beta feedback

    Email support@youhadmeatido.app with your studio URL, what you were doing, and a screenshot when something looks wrong. Real ceremonies and honest notes are what make this beta useful.

Wedding
One wedding workspace in your studio.
Full wedding workspace
The paid activation that unlocks the full couple portal and ceremony tools for one wedding.
Wedding activation
The paid unlock that opens the full wedding workspace for one wedding. Activating a wedding costs $15, with solo professionals never pay more than $60 in a calendar month; team monthly maximums are $99 for 2–5 operators and $149 for 6–15 operators.
Magic link
A secure, passwordless URL sent by email so couples and vendors open their portal.
Booking phase
Pipeline status for a wedding — inquiry, quoted, booked, completed, and your custom labels.
Light portal
Free couple view before wedding activation: basics and Story of You only.
Common sticking points
  • Wedding activations — complimentary activations from your invitation appear under My Business → full wedding workspace after your invitation is provisioned.
  • Activated too early — you can stay on free tracking indefinitely; activate when you need quotes, contracts, payments, or full ceremony tools.
  • Couple cannot log in — there is no password; resend or copy the magic link from the wedding.
  • Weak venue Wi‑Fi — download Day-of offline backup before you leave home or the hotel.
  • Contracts — templates are starting points; have your attorney review before live use.
