Define songs for ceremony, grand march, dinner, and reception. Map processional cues to the walking order and keep formalities on a timed timeline.
Curate with the couple
Couples help with Must Play, Play If Possible, and Do Not Play lists. You still own the night — their playlist is not the live request queue.
Run the request system
Guests request songs via QR or guest link. You triage Pending → In Queue → Played or Unable to Play. Ghost Protocol declines ban-list songs without outing the couple.

Guests submit songs. You triage the queue. Couples help curate playlists — they do not run your request list.
Guest submissions
Guests send song requests through the guest portal. Votes can surface favorites while the queue stays under DJ control.
DJ triage
Move requests Pending → In Queue → Played or Unable to Play. Undo a wrong mark without rewriting the night in a text thread.
Couple playlists stay separate
Must Play, Play If Possible, and Do Not Play are couple + DJ curation — not the same thing as the live guest request queue.
Ghost Protocol
If a guest asks for a Do Not Play song, Studio declines it politely as Unable to Play — without outing the couple’s ban list.

How does the request system work?

What is Ghost Protocol?
When a guest requests a song on the Do Not Play list, Studio marks it Unable to Play automatically — polite for the guest, private for the couple.
